Soccer Recap: William Byrd Takes a Loss

William Byrd lost against Hidden Valley back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Terriers fell just short of the Titans by a score of 5-4. Even if William Byrd couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

They hit Hidden Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Daniel Britts (2), Sergio Leon, and Mitchell Sigafoes.

William Byrd is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6-1. As for Hidden Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3-2.

William Byrd didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Franklin County on the 9th. As for Hidden Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Salem on the 9th.
