Football Recap: Canyon Springs Comes Up Short

After soaring to 31 points the game before, Canyon Springs was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 27-6 to the Sunrise Mountain Miners. The Pioneers were probably out for revenge after losing 20-7 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Canyon Springs has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Sunrise Mountain, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Canyon Springs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 26-0 loss against Mojave on the 23rd. As for Sunrise Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 27-6 win against Del Sol on the 24th.
