After losing to Robinson the last time they met, Armwood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Knights on Thursday, sneaking past 6-4.

Elijah Battiste and Dylan Michiels did most of the damage at the plate: Battiste went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Michiels went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Michiels has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Christopher Lovett III, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Armwood's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Robinson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Armwood will square off against Durant at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Robinson, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Chamberlain at 10:00 a.m.
