Bountiful skates past Bonneville with ease

Recap: Bountiful RedHawks vs. Bonneville Lakers

The Bountiful RedHawks stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bonneville 81-29 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Bountiful has managed all season.

Leading Bountiful to victory were Taylor Harvey and Milika Satuala. Harvey dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Satuala dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Satuala has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Adelaide Stevenson, who scored 13 points along with five assists.

Several Lakers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Baylee Andreasen, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Andreasen pulled down eight or more rebounds. Tyler Moss was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.

Bonneville struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.

Bountiful's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Bonneville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bountiful will challenge Clearfield at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Clearfield will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Bonneville, they will head out on the road to face off against Box Elder at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Box Elder presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bonneville in Utah (Box Elder is ranked 28th, while Bonneville is ranked 98th).
