Palo Verde extended their postseason success on Friday against Las Vegas. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 back in March.

Hayden Lucibello spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Palo Verde got a big performance out of Jace Jefferies, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Keimani Johnson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.

Palo Verde was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Las Vegas only posted a batting average of .259.

Palo Verde has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. As for Las Vegas, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-11.

Coming up, Palo Verde will square off against Faith Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Las Vegas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
