Volleyball Recap: North Mecklenburg Takes a Loss

North Mecklenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the A.L. Brown Wonders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wonders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 4th.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-18.

Monta Moser paced North Mecklenburg's offense, picking up four kills. Moser got some help from Ryan Cook and his seven assists. Cook was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

North Mecklenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for A.L. Brown, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

North Mecklenburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Hopewell on the 30th. As for A.L. Brown, they will challenge Central Davidson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
