Volleyball Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

Cabrillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Woodrow Wilson Bruins, falling 3-0. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bruins when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-7, 25-11.

Cabrillo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Woodrow Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cabrillo is set to face off against their familiar foe Compton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodrow Wilson will challenge rival Long Beach Poly at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
