Logan Ross posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.

Ross' strong effort led Liberty over Shepherd and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty is 8-2 against Shepherd going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
