Basketball Recap: Forest Takes a Loss

Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Mendenhall Tigers, falling 66-23. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Tigers are ranked 47th).

Forest's record is now 3-15. As for Mendenhall, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Forest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-40 loss against Quitman on the 31st. As for Mendenhall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-52 victory against Morton on the 31st.
