Football Preview: Zephyrhills Bulldogs vs. Gulf Buccaneers        
        
		
             Zephyrhills is 8-0 against Gulf since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Zephyrhills Bulldogs will square off against the Gulf Buccaneers at 7:30  p.m. Zephyrhills' defense has only allowed 15.2  points per game  this season, so Gulf's offense will have their work cut out for them.
 Zephyrhills took a loss when they played away from home  last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They secured  a  22-17 W over Land O' Lakes.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Zephyrhills to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Xzavier Jackson, who threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns. 89 of those passing yards were hauled in by Aj Jackson, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Gulf never let their opponents score on Friday. They claimed a resounding  59-0 victory over Anclote at home. Given the Buccaneers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings  (they are ranked 179th, while the Sharks are ranked 522nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

 The  win  got Zephyrhills back to even at 2-2. As for Gulf,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-1.
 Everything went Zephyrhills' way against Gulf in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023 as Zephyrhills made off with  a  35-13 win. In that  game, Zephyrhills amassed a halftime lead of  28-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
