Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Clinton was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Central Vikings. Arrows fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Vikings since Saturday.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Warren Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will head out to square off against Pearl at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Jackson Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
