Softball Recap: Almont Wins Going Away Against Bad Axe

Almont was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Bad Axe on Friday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Hatchets. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Hatchets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Emma Campbell was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Almont's win bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Bad Axe, they moved to 4-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Almont will square off against Richmond at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bad Axe, they will challenge Unionville-Sebewaing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
