Volleyball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

If Morgan was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Chamberlain on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Anclote Sharks on Friday.

While Morgan was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-0.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Anclote, they moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Morgan and Anclote will both be playing Fivay the next time they take the court. The Sharks will head out to face the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
