Baseball Recap: Petrolia Comes Up Short

Petrolia lost against Windthorst on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates lost 11-1 to the Trojans. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Petrolia's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-2. As for Windthorst, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Petrolia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Windthorst, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-2 victory against Vernon on the 17th.
