Soccer Recap: Agoura Takes a Loss

Agoura was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Newbury Park Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Chargers have lost by just one goal.

Agoura's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for Newbury Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Newbury Park beat Agoura by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday.
