Volleyball Game Preview: George Washington Patriots vs. Thomas Jefferson Spartans + Official Tickets

George Washington hasn't had much luck against Thomas Jefferson recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as George Washington comes in on three and Thomas Jefferson on six.

On Tuesday, George Washington was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln, taking the game 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 19-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson made easy work of Regis Groff on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Thomas Jefferson's got stronger as the match went on, holding Regis Groff to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-17.

George Washington now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Thomas Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.
