Volleyball Recap: Walsenburg's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Walsenburg can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lotus School For Excellence Meteors. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Meteors, too.

Walsenburg not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lotus School For Excellence between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

Walsenburg's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Walsenburg has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Sierra on the 25th. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they will take on Mitchell at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
