Softball Recap: Bigelow Comes Up Short

Bigelow lost against Mayflower back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bigelow Panthers came up short against the Mayflower Eagles, falling 16-1. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bigelow saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addyson Jordan, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bigelow's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mayflower, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bigelow will take on Little Rock Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bigelow has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Mayflower, they will square off against Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
