Silver came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Chaparral Lobos with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Fighting Colts have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lobos, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Silver was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Chaparral saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Diana Valenzuela had 13 digs and one assist. Valenzuela is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.

Silver's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Chaparral, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-15.

Silver has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Santa Teresa on the 1st. As for Chaparral, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Deming on the 1st.
