Basketball Recap: West Comes Up Short

The West Cowboys were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 42-41 to the Thurgood Marshall Cougars.

West has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Thurgood Marshall, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-15 record.

West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thurgood Marshall, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bethel at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
