Basketball Game Preview: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Lebanon Tigers

The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins will take on the Lebanon Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Wednesday, Tri-West Hendricks didn't have too much trouble with Southmont as they won 67-53.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lebanon). They claimed a resounding 59-11 victory over Frankfort. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Tri-West Hendricks better keep an eye on Claire Boling. She was instrumental in Lebanon's win, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Boling is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jade Mount, who went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points.

Lebanon was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frankfort only posted three assists.

Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Tri-West Hendricks, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Tri-West Hendricks came up short against Lebanon in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 51-47. Thankfully for Tri-West Hendricks, Emily Sperry (who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
