Basketball Recap: Columbus Titans vs. St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers

The Columbus Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against St. Mary's-Colgan, falling 58-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Columbus has scored all season.

Jack Schremmer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Mary's-Colgan, scoring 22 points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Voss, who scored 14 points.

Columbus has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus will take on the Golden Tornado at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Rams. Riverton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 contests -- so hopefully the Panthers like a good challenge.
