Softball Recap: George Washington Eagles vs. Carver High School of Engineering & Science
With a playoff game on the line, George Washington rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over Carver High School of Engineering & Science. Considering George Washington has won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Rebecca Varhula was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Ellison, who went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
