Southside waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Acadiana Rams 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Sharks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Southside's got stronger as the match went on, holding Acadiana to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-13.

Southside's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Acadiana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.

Coming up, Southside will challenge Lafayette at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Acadiana, they will face off against Eunice at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
