Tuscumbia has no trouble against Jamestown

Recap: Tuscumbia Lions vs. Jamestown

The Tuscumbia Lions entered their tilt with Jamestown with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Tuscumbia blew past Jamestown 74-50. This was payback for Tuscumbia, who suffered a 75-55 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Tuscumbia had a senior duo take command as Connor Burks dropped a double-double on 21 points and 10 assists and Benley Boggs scored 25 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Boggs has scored at least 25% of Tuscumbia's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Cline, who scored 5 points along with 3 steals.

Tuscumbia has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Jamestown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.

Tuscumbia will head out on the road to face off against Iberia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Iberia presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tuscumbia in Missouri (Iberia is ranked 94th, while Tuscumbia is ranked 301st). As for Jamestown, they will be playing at home against Smithton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Smithton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
