Volleyball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oxbridge Academy lost against Jupiter Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The ThunderWolves lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The ThunderWolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Oxbridge Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-19.

When it comes to explaining why Oxbridge Academy lost, don't look at Olivija Kozul. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and six aces.

Jupiter Christian found their leader in sophomore Ella Murray, who had ten digs and three assists. Murray is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Oxbridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Jupiter Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Oxbridge Academy and Dreyfoos School of the Arts will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the ThunderWolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jupiter Christian, they will square off against Coral Shores at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
