Football Game Preview: Pen Argyl Green Knights vs. Catasauqua Rough Riders

The Pen Argyl Green Knights will challenge the Catasauqua Rough Riders at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Catasauqua is facing Pen Argyl at the wrong time: Pen Argyl suffered their first home loss of the season on Saturday and they're likely out for redemption. They took a hard 24-7 fall against the Panthers. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Green Knights couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Catasauqua was beaten by Northern Lehigh 42-12 on Friday.

Catasauqua's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pen Argyl, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Pen Argyl was able to grind out a solid win over Catasauqua in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 14-7. Do the Green Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rough Riders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
