Volleyball Recap: Cosby Triumphs

The Cosby Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Apostolic Christian 2-1.

Cosby had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-12, 15-13.

Cosby's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Apostolic Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Cosby will take on Washburn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Apostolic Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
