Volleyball Recap: Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Owen County Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss back in September.

Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Owen County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Heritage Academy will host Villa Madonna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Owen County, they will take on Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
