Basketball Recap: North East Gets the Win

After losing to Tri-State Christian the last time they met, North East decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The North East Indians skirted past the Tri-State Christian Crusaders 36-33. The 36-point effort marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory got North East back to even at 3-3. As for Tri-State Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

North East won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bohemia Manor at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. North East is facing Bohemia Manor at the right time seeing as Bohemia Manor is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Tri-State Christian, they will be playing at home against Caravel at 12:15 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
