Soccer Recap: Hillsdale Triumphs

On Saturday, the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS earned a 3-1 victory over the Santa Cruz Cardinals.

Hillsdale hit Santa Cruz with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tyler Essa, Henry Farrow, and Anthony Pozzobon.

Hillsdale's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Santa Cruz, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Hillsdale will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sequoia at 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Hillsdale's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Sequoia's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Santa Cruz, they will be home for the holidays to greet Ceiba College Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
