Mountainburg scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 65-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waldron Bulldogs. The Dragons were probably out for revenge after losing 67-64 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Mountainburg and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Waldron, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Mountainburg will take on Clarksville in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waldron and Acorn will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
