Flag Football Game Preview: Cathedral Catholic Dons vs. Mission Bay Buccaneers + How To Watch

The Cathedral Catholic Dons will venture away from home to take on the Mission Bay Buccaneers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cathedral Catholic's defense has only allowed 10.6 points per game this season, so Mission Bay's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Cathedral Catholic's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They took down Ramona 15-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 200th).

Meanwhile, Mission Bay earned a 20-13 victory over Academy of Our Lady of Peace on Tuesday.

Cathedral Catholic pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Mission Bay, their win bumped their record up to 13-10-1.

Everything went Cathedral Catholic's way against Mission Bay in their previous meeting back in September, as Cathedral Catholic made off with a 27-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
