Recap: Wolfe City Wolves vs. Celeste Blue Devils
The Wolfe City Wolves fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Celeste by a score of 65-53 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wolfe City also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Wolfe City's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cayden Herron, who scored 20 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Herron has scored all season. Cavan Armstrong was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Wolfe City's victory bumped their record up to 10-22. As for Celeste, they dropped their record down to 13-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Wolfe City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Celeste also has no future games currently scheduled.
