After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas Jefferson, Meadowbrook was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 38-6 victory over the J.R. Tucker Tigers at home. The high-scoring effort was just what the Monarchs needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Tyson Norman was a one-man wrecking crew for Meadowbrook as he rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards and a touchdown. Nekhi Baird was another key player, throwing for 197 yards and three touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes.

Meadowbrook's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Camdon Wysocki with two sacks. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
