Pleasant Grove came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Spanish Fork Dons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Pleasant Grove had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-13, 15-12.

Addie Beck paced Pleasant Grove's offense, picking up 16 kills. Beck got some help from Marley McCandless and her 44 assists. Dixie Werner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pleasant Grove's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Spanish Fork, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pleasant Grove is set to face off against their familiar foe Wasatch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spanish Fork will challenge rival Timpview at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
