Baseball Recap: Glades Day Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Glades Day's offense. They came up short against the Seminole Ridge Hawks on Thursday, falling 21-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 8-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Glades Day and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Seminole Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Glades Day will head out to challenge Glades Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seminole Ridge, they will host Park Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Seminole Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
