Basketball Game Preview: Grass Lake Warriors vs. Clinton Redwolves

The Grass Lake Warriors will face off against the Clinton Redwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grass Lake has 21 straight victories, Clinton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Grass Lake is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Pinckney 73-41. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Pirates are ranked 500th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Clinton suffered their biggest loss since February 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 71-39 defeat at the hands of Onsted. The Redwolves were down 57-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Grass Lake, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-0.
