Basketball Recap: Southeast Gets the Win

Southeast's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 46-41 victory over the Jackson-Milton Bluejays. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 49-47 win the Bluejays walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2020.

The victory got Southeast back to even at 4-4. As for Jackson-Milton, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Southeast won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cardinal at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. Southeast is facing Cardinal at the right time seeing as Cardinal is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Jackson-Milton, they are taking a road trip to face off against McDonald at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
