Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Warriors vs. Grayson Christian

The Trinity Christian Academy Warriors will take on Grayson Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grayson Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Trinity Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Trinity Christian Academy will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Paris HomeSchool, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Trinity Christian Academy managed a 32-27 victory over Paris HomeSchool last Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Trinity Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cenzie Pyeatt, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carmen Nesbit, who earned nine points.

Meanwhile, Grayson Christian came up short against Bennington on Wednesday and fell 47-37. While losing is never fun, Grayson Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 1105th in Texas, while Bennington is ranked 226th in Oklahoma).

Grayson Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Trinity Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Grayson Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 37-30.
