Softball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison lost against Silver Creek back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cubs came up short against the Dragons, falling 11-1. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Silver Creek, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Greensburg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Silver Creek, they will take on Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dragons 2.3, the Fighting Irish 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
