Football Recap: Ocala Christian Gets the Win + How To Watch

Ocala Christian won the last time they faced St. John Lutheran, and Joshua Davis did his part to make sure it happened again. The Crusaders simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Saints 52-14 with plenty of help from Davis, who rushed for 208 yards and four TDs on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Ocala Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for St. John Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Ocala Christian will welcome Sports Leadership & Management at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. After both having extra time off, St. John Lutheran and Real Life Christian Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on September 19.
