Baseball Recap: East Lawrence Takes a Loss

East Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Colbert County Indians. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

East Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Colbert County, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Coming up, East Lawrence will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Elkmont at 4:30 p.m. The last four games Elkmont has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Colbert County, they are taking a road trip to face off against Clements at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
