Baseball Recap: American Canyon Find Success

American Canyon proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 14) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Napa Grizzlies, sneaking past 8-6. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Royce Hall, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Lopez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

American Canyon hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matchups.

American Canyon's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Napa, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
