Columbia Central got themselves on the board against Shelbyville Central on Thursday, but Shelbyville Central never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Golden Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Columbia Central and bumps their season record up to 13-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Shelbyville Central, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Central will challenge Loretto at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shelbyville Central, they will square off against Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
