It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Harmony Grove ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top against the Bismarck Lions by a score of 6-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Hornets, who have now won three contests in a row.

Harmony Grove's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Bismarck, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Harmony Grove will venture away from home to square off against Parkers Chapel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bismarck, they will host Centerpoint at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
