Basketball Recap: Beecher Comes Up Short

After flying high against Morrice on Friday, Beecher came back down to earth. The Buccaneers took a blow against the Hamady Hawks on Saturday, falling 75-36. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 465th, while the Hawks are ranked 138th).

Beecher now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Hamady, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Beecher will take on South Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buccaneers are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hamady, they will be playing at home against New Standard Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
