Basketball Recap: South Comes Up Short

South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westerville North Warriors.

Westerville North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby Gray, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kacee Bohan, who earned 15 points.

South's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Westerville North, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. South will venture away from home to challenge West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westerville North, they will head out to take on Worthington Kilbourne at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
