Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gallia Academy). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Waverly Tigers on Saturday, sneaking past 62-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Devils have posted since January 26, 2024.

Gallia Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Waverly, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gallia Academy will take on South Point at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Waverly, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wheelersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
