Basketball Recap: Monarch Comes Up Short

Monarch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Boca Raton Bobcats, falling 78-13.

Monarch's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Boca Raton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monarch will be home for the holidays to greet Hallandale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boca Raton, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Palm Beach Gardens at 7:30 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
